JR Train & Bus
*From Narita International Airport to Ishioka - Bus and JR Joban Line -
Take the Airport Liner - NATT'S bus from Narita Airport to
JR Hitachino-Ushiku Station.
Tickets are available at the Keisei Bus Ticket Center located
in the arrival lobby.
The journey takes approximately 80 minutes, and the fare
is 2,150 yen (adults).
Then take the JR local train for Ishioka Station. The journey
takes about 35 minutes, and the fare is 480 yen (adults).

Tsuchiura --> Kandatsu --> Takahama --> Ishioka
From Ishioka to Kakioka
*From Ueno to Ishioka - JR East Joban Line -
There are three ways to get to Ishioka Station on the JR East Joban Line.
Take the Super Hitachi limited express on the JR Joban Line
from Tokyo's Ueno Station to Tsuchiura Station.
The journey takes around 40 minutes, and the fare
is 2,010 yen (adults).
* Make sure the train stops at Tsuchiura Station.
Some super express trains do not stop there.
At Tsuchiura Station, change to the local train
for Ishioka Station. The journey takes about 20 minutes,
and the fare is 320 yen (adults).
* Tsuchiura --> Kandatsu --> Takahama --> Ishioka
Take the Fresh Hitachi limited express on the JR Joban Line
from Tokyo's Ueno Station to Ishioka Station.
The journey takes about one hour,
and the fare is 2,350 yen (adults).
Take the local train on the JR Joban Line from Ueno Station
to Ishioka Station.
The journey takes about an hour and a half,
and the fare is 1,450 yen (adults).
*From Ishioka to Kakioka - Kantetsu Green Bus -
From Ishioka Station, take the bus for Kakioka-Shako
or Uwaso from Terminal #2.
The journey takes about 20 minutes to Uchijuku,
and the fare is 550 yen (adults).
